A London What? (Pssst…It’s a tea latte)

I didn’t know what a London Fog was until a couple of weeks ago.  I was watching a YouTube video called Pure Living For Life.  Alissa and Jesse were raving about this drink that was the new craze, but didn’t explain what it was.  Go figure.  I gathered it was a tea drink since I saw a tea bag sticking out of the cup.  Now my … Continue reading A London What? English Muffin with Bruleed Banana and Peanut Butter

Bananas and peanut butter!  How can you go wrong?  What surprised me was how easy this is to make.  All you need is a banana, english muffin, peanut butter, and a little brown sugar.  This is supposed to be for breakfast, but I would eat it for a snack or even dessert!  I wish I could take all the credit for delectable concoction, but I … Continue reading English Muffin with Bruleed Banana and Peanut Butter

Southwestern Chopped Chicken Salad

Southwest with a flair.  This healthy taco-like salad is loaded with protein and healthy veggies with a taco ranch dressing.  Oh Yum!  It’s perfect for lunch or dinner and can feed a big crowd if you double the recipe. Italian Sausage Polenta Bake

I just love my Cooking Light magazine.  It’s probably the one magazine that I’ve subscribed to the longest.  Healthy eating is where it’s at for me and this magazine fits the bill.  One of the sections I like the most is Dinner Tonight, where I can find healthy, time saving recipes.  It’s geared for the working crowd. I wanted to find an easy, hearty recipe that … Continue reading Italian Sausage Polenta Bake

We post pictures and recipes of food that we have created, sometimes members ask for advice, and we give tons of positive praise. One day on the page, … Continue reading Jamaican Jerk Chicken Stew

Avocado Crema with Cilantro

Hi everyone!  Well my husband listened to me and checked my Amazon wishlist for Christmas gift ideas.  On my list was Bobby Flay’s new book, Bobby Flay Fit.   When it comes to cookbooks, I prefer hardback additions, not kindle.  I love to flip through the pages reading each recipe and also look at the pictures.  Just something I love to do.  If I can find … Continue reading Avocado Crema with Cilantro

Celebrate the Season with Eggnog Cupcakes

Happy Holidays everyone! I do like Eggnog, but I can’t drink a lot of it. So, I decided to try and make Eggnog Cupcakes. You can’t go wrong here. Basically what I did was take my go-to vanilla cake recipe and replaced the milk with Eggnog. I also added 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg. For the buttercream I used 4 tablespoons … Continue reading Celebrate the Season with Eggnog Cupcakes
